Charlie Welton

Charlie is a Senior Account Executive at H/Advisors Dubai. He supports our local and international clients with their communications strategies, regional geopolitical and macroeconomic analysis, English copy writing, and region-wide media relations and profile raising.

Whilst living in the region Charlie has gained a strong understanding of both the GCC’s political landscape and the intersection between the region’s public and private sectors, specifically within the private equity and renewable energy industries. He has specialist knowledge of the region’s geopolitical environment with experience providing high-level policy briefings and analysis on regional events and their implications for our clients.

Charlie has supported asset and wealth managers, private equity funds, and banks with their communications strategies across the GCC and MENA region, advising on how to best build corporate profiles and raise brand awareness and reach target audiences. Alongside this, he is responsible for the development of H/Advisors Dubai’s stakeholder mapping strategies, and has experience developing maps on all GCC countries, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia’s government owned entities.

Prior to joining H/Advisors Middle East, Charlie worked in the capital markets and public affairs departments at FGS Global in London and has also spent time on a political leadership campaign.

Charlie has a BA in International Relations from Exeter University and completed Havard Business School’s ‘Leading in Finance’ course in 2024.
